Elizabeth Sadoff began painting large scale murals for a summer job while a student at the University of California, Santa Cruz. After graduating, she formed Santa Cruz-based Visual Events, a mural painting business with two other artists, executing commissions in various California sites. She moved to New York in 1988, working initially for Eon Arts, a Manhattan based decorative painting company, and eventually went on to establish her own company, Elizabeth Sadoff Associates, also based in Manhattan.

For over 10 years she and her crews worked chiefly on interior projects for both commercial and residential clients, painting murals as well as special finishes for clients located on the east coast, Nevada, California, Mexico, and various other locations. She moved to Los Angeles in 1999 where she continued to paint murals with an emphasis on commissioned paintings for hotels and private collectors.

In 2005, she co-founded Findamuralist.com with her partners Matt Brooks, Jonathan Brooks, Reza Sarmadi and Diane Sands. She is also the part-time director of a cooperative gallery in Santa Monica.
