About Meghan Taylor
I am an international and local mural painting artist - I've painted my designs from up and down the East Coast all the way to Latin America. I am motivated to enhance spaces to create the most unique, aesthetic and vibrant setting for my clients. Each mural is uniquely tailored to suit the environment and the client, taking into consideration color, subject matter, environment and audience in the most creative way possible.
I've painted murals in a variety of palces including office spaces, schools, hospitals and businesses, and public parks. Some of my clients include Rails-to-Trails Conservancy, Revolution Cycles Bike Shop, Holly Patterson Facility Hospital and Hot Yoga Delaware. I've also been honored with the opportunity of painting murals in public parks and schools in San Sansalvador, El Salvador's capitol city. This astounding experience reaffirmed for me the importance of art to community, and compatibility with the world.
I make travel a priority in my life, and that has beautifully informed the murals I paint, providing rich passion and inspiration. For example, after pedaling my bicycle across the United States, I covered an 32 foot wall of a bicycle shop with a vibrant mural inspired from the adventure: a surreal landscape of oversized bicycle parts, complete with people living, camping, and bicycling upon them.

I met Meghan through a classified ad. I was painting a large painting on canvas and needed a helping hand. I saw her as a great painter, not afraid to use colors, excellent figure painter and super nice. The boldest brushstrokes to gaze at for the true art lovers. I would highly recommend her for mural projects.

Meghan Taylor is a kind hearted and wonderful muralist who specializes in art nouveau styled and figurative murals with lots of color, golds, reds, blues etc. She painted the lovely large installation on the back wall of the Electric Maid Community Storefront Arts Center in Takoma Park and stretched her own canvas for the mural to boot (so that it would not be dependent on the plaster underneath.) She is great to work with and I would recommend her highly to anyone looking for a storefront mural or installation.

Meghan does excellent work in a very accommodating way. She's fun, kind and a strong listener. She worked with our specific business needs and created a beautiful mural, blending our needs with her own creativity that resulted in a gorgeous mural that doesn't cease to amaze.

Meghan did a beautiful job interpreting my vague idea for a mural. She provided us with a couple sketches...one or two reflecting what i THOUGHT i wanted, and one that was her own twist on my idea that was SOOO much better. It turned out beautiful. Our bedroom is now a bit of an oasis. In a small apartment, one bedroom apartment with two people, its just what we needed.
