Style: Map Murals

Completing this mural on two pieces of canvas in studio, this intricate two hemisphere rendition of old terra firma was installed onsite at a Street of Dreams estate. The outer areas were plastered by hand then rubbed with various umber and sepia pigments and wiped off. This technique reveals an antique ambience that feels very much like an old castle or villa in the south of France or Italy.
