Coloseup detail of the Zebulon Pike mural

This is the part of the mural that I had exclusive responsibility of. Working from a 2”x4” computer printout, I freehanded a charcoal sketch before painting over it, creating the image from freehanded contour lines in various intensities of mixed acrylic hues. This mural is 40x10 feet.
