This Old World Map was fine tuned by the client. They were able to define the texture (to resemble old parchment paper), the designs (fashioned after and old ink design), the world map (showing continents, islands and pirate ships), and the fonts (the fonts, sizes and areas listed) The map is in a recessed area embedded in the wall on the second story of an 18 ft. ceiling, and across the balcony of their open staircase. It took 46 hours painting time to competition and was painted on a 15 ft scaffling. The mural was completed using 4 different colors of Interior flat enamel acrylic latex paint. This mural area is about 8 ft tall and approximately 12 ft long.
