Unique and modern, even though it represents a classical theme. I can only imagine how fabulous the rest of this client's bedroom must be! Big "WOW" factor!

Goddess Lakshmi with elephants

Style: Religious and Biblical Murals

This mural of the Goddess Lakshmi was done in a private residence in an Indian themed bedroom. The mural is life size, with Lakshmi measuring 6 feet high. The client requested that the mural be both realistic and stylized. Lakshmi is semi-realistic, but keeping with traditional Indian renderings of the Goddess much of her has been flattened, and proportions changed. The elephants in the background are done completely in the style of the previously mentioned drawings. Different techniques were used with the paint to give the illusion that Lakshmi is glowing, and gold paint was used to give the mural a shimmering quality. Completed at age 17.
