In preparation for the husband's side of the family coming over from Europe to celebrate Easter, I was commissioned to create a new family crest. The symbolism includes the war eagle, family name, and the nation's military insignia (grandpa used to be a pilot in the national air force). The blue airbrushed starbursts soften the transition of the red background cross and the white popccorn ceiling, and keep the focus on the central symbol.
