Country French Stairway

Style: European / Old World Murals

A 44" round medallion was painted on the winding staircase of this elegant Brookline, MA home. The homeowner wanted to compliment its beautiful architural details. We looked at French toile and European tapestries for inspiration as well as decorative scrolled details found in Venetian interiors. The idea was to add color to the space and give the impression that this mural has always been there.
