Ceramic Tile Murals are composed of separate sections of tile, usually glazed and fired, and as a group, form a large image or mural. Tiles surfaces can also be painted, provided the are porous enough to hold the paint. Finally, they can be simply painted, as in a trompe l'oeil, where a client has desired the look of tile, but doesn't wish to do the actual installation.
