Landscapes are my favorite subjects as I love to travel to many locations for my inspiration: the desert areas of Nevada and Arizona, the woods and lakes of Washington state, and the Oregon coast, to name just a few.
Clients have provided me with their own personal stories to depict on location, which is so much fun.
I am able to travel to a location to paint on site, or even better- work in my studio on light weight canvas to be delivered and installed. The canvas is movable and also allows for more detail; saves the client money for travel and accommodation expenses too.

My Education:
I grew up in the Gulf Coast region of Texas,where my teachers steered me toward my eventual career in art: double majored in Fine Arts and Interior Design at the University of Houston and further pursued my BFA at University of Texas in Austin. I have since studied with other professional artists on the West Coast and visited Europe several times for inspiration as well. I feel very fortunate to have been allowed to make a living doing "large art."
