I have been painting for 23 years. I paint mostly nursery and childrens rooms, and playrooms, also furniture. I have a line of childrens accessories, marketed through childrens stores across the nation but can also be ordered through me. I love to do murals that teach children and to coordinate with a theme, using the fabric colors and adding drawer pulls and finials, clocks, name cutouts, growth charts & canvases to give a custom, pulled together appearance. It,s amazing what just changing knobs on exsisting furniture can do, I call them mini murals
I am mother & grandmother. I paint almost everyday and love it. I've been painting for stores for 23 years from Ca. to NJ. I love putting the whole room together as well as just accessorizing. I have lived in several states but have been in Tx for 18 yrs so guess I,m here to stay, but I also love it here.
My Education:
I took a decorative painting class years ago, then just painted everyday to practice what I learned.(you know they say practice makes perfect) Well, as an artist you can never be perfect enough but I just want my customers to be pleased. There is nothing I like better to hear than "it's more than we dreamed it would be". I also taught for two years in my home and designed pattern packets for painters and taught at conventions for several years, but my real love is murals.
