I like to paint everything...if it stands still long enough I will paint it! My favorite subjects to paint are animals, nature, architecture, old world design, whimsical-fantasy,landscapes.

I was fortunate to be raised by a very artistic family and encouraged to be creative. I opened a retail shop at the age of nineteen. I began making hand drawn greeting cards, taught myself to air brush and was very successful for about 11 years, but the air-brushing left me with a chronic tendon injury. I closed the shop,stopped air-brushing and picked up paint brushes. I focused only on murals and painting BIG! I have been very successful painting murals for the past 16 years, building the business mostly by referrals. I also work with many decorators, builders, painters etc. I love waking up for work everyday, to have the opportunity to meet so many lovely people, to create artwork especially for them is a dream come true! I love a good challenge, and strive to do my best with every project, but do admit at times I wish I hand wings to reach those high places! Many of my jobs only take one or two days to complete giving me the opportunity to keep prices reasonable.I am very active in my community where I grew up and live with my husband. I have been donating my services painting colorful, inspirational murals for vacant storefronts as an effort to help revitalize the business district. Eight have been completed to date and the positive reaction has fueled my desire to do more.

I studied art in high school-having 3 art classes in a row in my senior year. Also attending numerous art classes at local art centers, but most of my education has been from experience. I continue to study on my own, pouring over books, researching online and working with creative family and friends. There is so much to learn- I try to learn something new everyday.
