A professional artist for 23 years, with a prior career as the Exhibition Specialist in the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute, Jennifer has been painting and designing children's interiors for more than 10 years.
"As much as I loved the Met, after the birth of my daughter I chose to stay home with her. Unable to go without a creative endeavor for very long, Nursery Decor.com was created. I love to take a raw or out-dated space and transform it into a whimsical and magical environment. The best part of painting a children's environment is watching their reaction to the space, especially the little ones. My clients in schools have told me how toddlers will hug, kiss and talk to the animals I have created for their walls. The joy and imagination my work sparks within the young is the best reward of all."

My Biography:
First commissioned to recreate pastel versions of the Impressionist Masters, Jennifer has a fine art background with a concentration in pastel painting, printmaking and photography. Murals were a natural evolution of her visual design skills combined with her talent and eye for color.
Photography, painting and display work have all given Jennifer an inspired yet well balanced perspective to any spacial challenge.
A diverse background in visual display has enhanced Jennifer's artistic ability to transform interiors. This background includes years of experience at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Examples of her freelance work were at Sotheby's, Anthropologie, Fortunoff, Louis Vuitton and more.
Some of the public murals commissioned were painted in: Club Fit, Jefferson Valley NY; Ballet des Enfants Chappaqua and Larchmont, NY; Lang Pools in Norwalk, CT; holiday windows for Anthropologie in Westport, CT; and Montessori Nursery School in Bronxville, NY.
