Inna specializes in Trompe L’oeil Murals. Trompe L’oeil literally meaning to ‘trick the eye’, is an antique form of interior decoration documented throughout time. By making use of perspective, shadow and color, an optical illusion of space and volume is created. This illusion is accomplished by painting the subject within and beyond architectural elements which are also painted with a realism that can only be achieved by knowledge of perspective rules and tricks. Trompe L’oeil murals can create the illusion of wide open spaces and realistic three dimensional images in an otherwise confined or dreary area.

To minimize the problem of working directly on the client's premises it is possible to create the commissioned work in the studio. A specially prepared canvas is used for painting that can be later applied directly on the wall or ceiling. Canvas murals are very durable as is the paint with which they are rendered.
