I like to paint anything and everything. I think I've also painted in every conceivable type of room, from basements to widow's walks. I especially, however, like to paint children, children's rooms and scenic painting from New England to Tuscany and beyond.
I have lived in Massachusetts all my life and I have been drawing and painting since I was a small child. Professionally, I've been painting since 1991. My style is something I think of as soft realism. However, I am able to adapt my painting style to suit the nature of the project. I possess the technical ability to produce a fine art portrait painting but sometimes prefer working in loose, playful strokes to produce an Impressionistic result.
My Education:
I am a self-taught painter. But, while I say that, I have intensely studied and admired the genius and mastery of the world's great artists. I admire artist's ranging from America's own Norman Rockwell, John Singer Sargent, Mary Cassatt as well as Rembrandt. Alas, the list goes on and on...
