I love to paint the world around me. I have been painting wildlife and landscapes when I do my smaller paintings.Portraits have been the majority of my commission work though: people,pets and hotrods/motorcles etc. Alot of my commercial work has been on a larger scale 10ft plus high by 30+ft. long. the most dificult substrate I have painted on is weathered sandstone,so challenging sites can be intriging to me.I also am open to trade or barter.
I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest.I have recently transplanted to the MidWest with my Husband,two sons,three dogs and one cat(they're family too). I am now doing painting full-time after working in the education field for 15 years. Art has been in my life since my early teens when I started airbrushing sailboats and cars of my brothers friends. I have been doing commission work ever since.
My Education:
I am pursing a MFA, I have a B.A in Liberals Arts. a majority of my art experience has been self taught.I do teach art privately at my studio and occasionaly at a near by college summer youth program
