I am happiest painting landscapes, seascapes and animals; anything natural.
Being Virginia born, I am a country boy, maried to a wonderful lady named Mary. I have tried to be a lot of things over the years but only art has satisfied me. We opened Stout Sighs in 1980 and I went full time as a mural artist in 1993.
We traveled in a motorhome for 7 years and did several thousand airbrush murals on RVs, trucks and motorcycles.
Now I am painting walls with paint brush and passion. I am traveling internationally and getting a lot of work at Caribbean resorts. Which; by the way, are nice places to hang out.
I worked for Disney when Epcot was opening and saw their murals being installed. I saw the waste of time, manpower and money and thought I could do better so I spent 8 years developing the style and procdure that make me one of the fastest and most cost effective artist available today.
My Education:
I do not have an impressive list of schools. I took one year of high school art and two years of vocational training as a mechanical / architecural draftsman. That is a big plus for my edge on prespective.
Most of my education comes from herediy, books I have purchased, a developed sense of observation and about 30,000 hours of practice.
