I love creating custom murals and decorative art pieces that transform your space into something beautiful , dynamic, and perfectly suited to your needs and aesthetic. For me, working with others is a joy. I love painting trompe l'oeil murals that fool the eye and also creating pieces inspired by my clients creative ideas. I have painted murals and decorative pieces inspired by moorish, spanish, and italian designs among others. I research historical sources and create artwork that suits your home, classical, contemporary or traditional.
I have been painting for 18 years and in 2000 started my own business, Kris Garard Art and Design. I received my BA in Visual Art from U.C.S.D. and also studied in Florence, Italy and at the Occidental Arts and Ecology Center. I love working with clients directly to transfrom their space into something beautiful and perfect for their personality and home decor. I have extraordinary versatility in my painting style and love the challenge of new and exciting projects. I paint murals and commissioned oil paintings in my art studio in Redondo Beach and I am willing to travel any distance for the right job.
