I love to paint. anything! I like the chanllenge of reproducing a scene or a lanscape and make it look real. I like it and I enjoy it. I enjoy the process and always treat myself to learn something new. I think that painting is a constant learning process and no matter how satisfied I would be with my results, I always think that next time I will make it better. This is the kind of attitude that allows me to grow as a painter as well as a person.
I began painting at the age of 15 while I was resting after a surgery and right away I discovered that this was something I really wanted to do.
Unfortunately, my father didn’t like the idea that I become a painter, so as per his insistence I had to keep studying at high school, and then the University until obtaining my degree in Architecture. I never stopped painting, admiring and studying the Great Masters of whom I did some copies and painting in my spare time, but always thinking that when I retire I wanted to paint full time.
In 2002 political and economical reasons brought me to America. My children would encourage me to start painting professionally so I began painting murals.
I am very glad to have started and especially grateful for my children’s support. I appreciate all my clients’ confidence in giving me the opportunity to develop my art.
My Education:
