ART is my life and passion., my happiness. I love to portrait an essence of life, capture my emotions on canvas and your emotions on murals.My goal is to make my clients content by looking at my final work of art.
ARTIST , MURALIST.
Born in January 75.....in Slovakia, (former Czechoslovakia)
Growing up under the communist regime , participating in “velvet revolution”, ( which caused it’s demise) and living through the process of her country becoming democratic , she acquired a plethora of life experiences, At age of 19, she got the opportunity to move to the U.S. and without hesitation,alone, she relocated to Los Angeles, leaving her family behind.
All of these events have given her a broader scope and has shaped her inner self.
Enjoying her freedom she’s found in America, she cherishes the fact that she is able to express her mind and feelings in many ways.(something impossible under the grim atmosphere of communism).
Her skills were developed at an early age, inspired by her mother(a fine artist) and her father( a talented craftsman)., but only a year ago she have realized, that art, painting is her true passion.
She is possessed by human heart.... She feels the urge to portray emotional landscapes of places, we all have visited and to explore the regions of heart where both, you and I are afraid to go...
Her previous work as a nurse and former ambitions to become a cardiologist , may
have something to do with it as well.
She is completely self-taught and finds it fascinating and challenging to explore and develop new techniques in her artwork..
In March 2004 she exhibited her artwork in New York Art Festival and has been invited back....
In May 2005 , she participated in NOHO Art Festival.
Jana is a founder of -” Solitary HeArt Festival”- where artists of all kinds unite to share their talents with the rest of us. Event is attached to a charitable cause , benefiting “The Children’s Art Therapy program”” at the children’s shelters.
