Jim was born and raised in LA, moving to Orange County when he was around 10. He attended the high school for the arts, where he graduated with honors. (Thankfully, they didn't mind drawings on his math papers!) After graduation, he was hired immediately by The Walt Disney Co. in the Art Dept. where he was able to work his way through college, and where I stayed for the next 6 1/2 years. His work can be seen in such diverse projects as attraction design for California Adventure, "Light Magic", as well as "The Hunchback of Notre Dame", "Hercules" and "Mulan". Upon leaving Disney, he started Mulligan Pictorial, a decorative arts company that has taken his work around the globe!.
