Betsey and I love variety! I love to paint impressionistic water color landscapes. Betsey is so great at realism....like painting your pooch in the mural and make it look exactly like him. Or perhaps you would like her to turn your little girl into a mermaid in a "under the sea fantasy"!
Over the past two and a half decades between the two of us we have painted theaters, restaurants,hospitals, schools and all types of stores and businesses ...but our favorite project
is working one on one with a parent and child and creating something wonderful. It never fails to move us when a client tells us how her little child says her prayers and says good night to all the little critters we have painted in her own special little dream world. Knowing a child grows up surrounded by our art work is in itself a great reason to do it.....getting paid to do it is frosting on the cake! Dreams can come true....let us create childhood memories for your loved ones!

My Biography:
Betsey is a California girl who can paint beachscapes so real you can feel the breezes waifting by you as you gaze out to sea and watch your little boy or girl surfing on a big wave headed straight for you. She now resides in Huntington Beach and is well known for her skills with an air brush. I feel very grateful to have her as my partner.
Currently we are painting a playground mural together at New Horizon School in Pasadena, California and it is coming along .....just perfect!
As for me, I enjoy water color landscapes , cartooning, floral borders and underwater seascapes. Sometimes it's great fun to imitate
the styles of the famous as well as the unknown.
If you want it painted on your wall...we'll do just that! You pick your favorite images or let us have artist's license to complete an environment that is sure to put you in a good mood. Hey, that's why I refer to them as "mood rooms"!
My favorite project was a nursery titled," Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" for Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin. I got to work directly with Kim to create "just the perfect room for a new pair of eyes"! . Kim had our mural shown on Oprah and my wife and I were invited back to meet their baby, Ireland .
About 24 years ago I met Betsey while working on a mural project called The Egyptian Westwood Theater
for artist Paul David Willner Mural Co.
We have been painting together ever since!
I live in Santa Monica with my wife of 41 years and my little dog Pooky.
We all like to travel a bit so no matter where you are we will come to you! Have paint brush will travel. Our slogan "got murals"!Check out our work on my current website: www.fleckart.com

My Education:
I, David Fleck, started my art career as a grapic artist for the 500th Military Intelligence Headquarters in Hawaii.
After my stint in the U.S. Army I took every art class I could through the G.I. Bill an attended Orange Coast College, Golden West College and University of California Irvine and followed a "fine arts" major.
